First Video

First video of the music visualizer. I will try to post better quality videos that do it justice, with a greater range of music soon. Music used through a Creative Commons license; the song comes from http://www.danosongs.com. More instructions to come!

  1. Cool, when will you release sourcecode and the parts list?

  2. Very very interested in seeing your code, particularly the beat detection part. I'm part way through building something for dj stuff with 30 high power RGB leds and the beat detection on the arduino is a challenge. Yours is the best I've come across, good work.

  3. Thanks for your feedback it's appreciated! I have already posted a bit of information below on the general electronics side of things (the building blocks of making such a thing). I am hoping that the video gives an example of what can be achieved, but it is still far from perfect, and there are lots of ways to do this. Regarding the source code and full parts, this is something that I haven't gotten around to yet. I may only release portions of the code to give people ideas, but not the code in its entirety. If you are interested in another example, I believe that there is a library that uses Processing. Thanks again!
